I get asked all the time, "where is your favorite place to go". I can't pick just one. I like them all.....well almost. Some places I like because of the KJ, or the Sound, or the Stage.....so here are my favorite eight places right now:

We want to keep this site alive and growing, you can help by from time to time Google and Yahoo search “Karaoke in Albuquerque” and clicking on the site. This is how websites get to the top of their listings, and then when someone is looking for a place to sing from out of town, they will most likely find us. Also if you know of any businesses that would like to help support the site financially we have ads for as low as $10 per month, or they can sponsor with gift certificates to make singing in Albuquerque so much more fun and interesting.
There are some venues I can't get to every month and therefore are not reported on the report card or the review page. These are Boop, Moriarty and Ten Pins. If you would like to do this let us know, just use the "Contact Us" form to the left.
Also, visit the website every day. It changes everyday, literally. Tell your freinds, and when you visit a new venue, PLEASE tell the KJ and the server you saw it on Call Me Ozz

HOOLIGANS-NOT ON THURSDAYS
Hooligans, the place where you sing on stage with 10,000 watts of power and Ben-Addicted at the controls. Thursday nights did not pan out the crowds needed but Tuesday and Friday do. So come sing with them!
GRAHAM-NOT ON THURSDAYS
Graham Central Station-Ally Cats has made some sweeping changes to their karaoke bar. Now digital with a massive song selection, sound improvements and moved the KJ Booth to the stage. Thursdays did not work out but every Friday and Saturday night from 9-1:35am. Feel free to dance to country or hip hop in between your songs, or ride the bull!
ANCIENT SPIRITS-NOT
Just when we thought we had a karaoke venue in Bernalillio it died. KJ DraZtik hosted twice and then we don't know what happened but the place shut down. We will keep you posted if it re-opens.
BROKEN BOTTLE ON THURSDAYS
I was sitting at open comedy mic night at Broken Bottle on a Wednesday only to hear the announcement that they were starting karaoke the next night. No I wasn't able to go but I will soon.
KJ DRAZTIK AT LUCKY LANES
I remember walking into Graham Central Station a few years ago to a under 5 firecracker KJ by the name of Sarah. She had more energy than all 3 of my kids combined. Graham couldn't contain her so she moved on with Kammo at The Barley Room, then Lucky Lanes in need of a KJ offered her,her own gig. You can now find her there every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9-Close.

KJ KOZ AT SIDELINES
You may remember KJ Lenore from Evolution....She is back behind the sound again. On board with Kammo's Karaoke now. Kammo's has taken over Sidelines from Tommy Hurrikane and KJ Koz (Lenore) Can be found there on Mondays and Tuesdays. Sometimes on Thursday, you should call and make sure first.

TOMMY GONE-KOZ IN FROM FOX N HOUND
The second round of The Fox Icon Contest has come to a close and with it so has Tommy Hurrikane. KJ Koz is now the KJ at Fox N Hound on Wednesday nights from 9pm-1am.
NO NED'S ON MONDAY
Famous Amos and Country Joe from Kan-U-Karaoke were hosting karaoke on Mondays. It's tough to build a Monday crowd and could take a long time. After a few months Ned's decided to give it up.
KJ KOZ @ LOUIES ON THURSDAYS
KJ Koz (Lenore) from Kammo Karaoke has now taken over Louies on Menaul from KJ Shua. The have karaoke every Thursday and Saturday night from 9pm-1am.
TOBYRIFFIC GONE FROM FIESTA'S
Tobyriffic from TnZ Karaoke only hosting at Fiesta's has left and now a new company has emerged from the "Z Portion" of TnZ. Zack is now the MC Host and Zack is trying out a few people for the inputting position. Fiesta's still rocks like it always has, every Friday and Saturday night from 9pm-Close.
NO TAMMYS EDGE ON FRIDAYS...
When KJ DraZtik left Kammo's Karaoke and took the position at Lucky Lanes the once a month family fun night at Tammy's Edge went with it. It was a once a month event and hopefully something can replace it because it sure was a great thing.
THERE'S A NEW KID IN TOWN....
Kammo's Karaoke is preparing to lose Albuquerque's best KJ according to the People's Choice Awards of 2012. DJ Speed Racer aka Jonathon Lemke will be leaving us the 1st week of October to be re-united with his children in Houston. While we will miss him, we are happy he will be with his children. Dwayne Stewart, the son of Milli has joined the Kammo team under the name of KJ Stew Dizzle. He will be at Sidelines on Thursdays and Barley Room on Wednesdays.
THE SEXY BALD GUY IS BACK!
Terry Neves, aka The Sexy Bald Guy has taken Kiara's place at Sneakerz. She went off and had her baby. Terry has been a long time loyal customer of Sneakerz and decided, why not? Join him on Wednesday-Saturday from 9pm-1:30am under Boop Karaoke.
KIDD SIXX IS OUT-ED SOL IS IN
Kidd Sixx has been the KJ at Silva Lanes on Fridays and Saturdays as long as I can remember, but they have made the move to replace him with Ed Sol. However, Ed cannot work many Friday and Saturdays due to his band Blue Sol, so you will most likely find him during the week and Gina or Mariah on the weekends.
It’s the good ole rumor mill going round. Ozz has retired, that’s why you don’t see him out anymore. Actually this is so far from the truth it’s not even funny! Currently I am in “retreat”. During this time, I am working very hard on the expansions of the website and preparing it for an investor.
I am in the process of creating “temporary spider sites” for all the future spider sites to come, like bowling, the cinema, sports, concerts, etc. These temporary sites a single page directory of those venues that will not require maintenance but will provide quick and easy information such as the name of the venue, the address, city, zip code and phone number. They also have a link to the venues website and a guest book that anyone can sign in and leave comments about the venue. Once a director is found for the site, the page will be removed and a full blown site will be in place. As of today, the BOWLING TONIGHT page is done and I am currently working on the CINEMA TONIGHT page.
I am also putting together the business plan, marketing plan and Performa financials so that I can get an investor or investors. These will be of the silent partner type and will have no say so of the operations of Call Me Ozz.
Also in the rumor mill, although it’s truth, not a rumor, is the karaoke site going to sponsor only January 1st. This is true. Over the last three years I have sent hundreds if not thousands into venues across the city for free. There are minimal expenses that must be covered in the operation of Call Me Ozz. Until January 1st sponsorship is only a one time fee of $100 per night that the venue chooses to feature it’s venue in the find a place to sing pages. If the site lived for 2 years that is only $4.17 per month, I have no doubt Call Me Ozz sends at least one customer per month into a venue and that customer spends at least that much money, heck I do! Effective January 1st, 2014 that rate will be going to $300.00 per night. Every venue will be informed of this starting November 1st, and completed by November 30th.
I am in retreat until October 21st, at which time my schedule for the next 5 weeks will be posted in the “WHERE IS OZZ TONIGHT” schedule. Sponsors will be seen first, my favorite places will be next, and then the other venues will be seen, for 1 hour, 4 venues per night, then it’s the Holiday Season….geez where has 2013 gone?
