This is how websites get to the top of their listings, and then when someone is looking for a place to sing from out of town, they will most likely find us. Also if you know of any businesses that would like to help support the site financially we have ads for as low as $10 per month, or they can sponsor with gift certificates to make singing in Albuquerque so much more fun and interesting.

There are some venues I can't get to every month and therefore are not reported on the report card or the review page. These are Boop, Moriarty and Ten Pins. If you would like to do this let us know, just use the "Contact Us" form to the left.

SINGERS FORUMS:

GRAHAM CENTRAL STATION NEW STAGE & THURSDAYS

Graham Central Station has brought some new changes to their stage and have now added Thursdays back to the nights of karaoke in the Ally Cats. KJ Nanae is the captain on board, guaranteed to have a good time. One cover charge of $5 gets you in all 3 bars!

SNEAKERZ-MARY ON FRIDAY, SEXY BALD GUY ON WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY AND SATURDAY!

After a lot of confusion it seems that Boop Karaoke at Sneakerz has reached consistency again. Mary, the owner of Boop can be found there on Friday's and The Sexy Bald Guy can be found there on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. I have been in a few times with him and he does a pretty good job, and their calzones are awesome!

BROKEN BOTTLE KARAOKE

Broken Bottle Brewery has been doing karaoke on Thursday nights for the last couple of months with Darryl and Steven, two news guys on the block. I have been in twice and love it every time. It is not loud and the crowd appreciates any kind of music, and the sound is very good.

TOMMY HURRIKANE LANDS THE DAMN BAR

Tommy Hurrikane has replaced Speed Racer at The Damn Bar in Rio Rancho on Thursday nights. It has never been busy on Thursday nights so if you're one who likes to get a lot of songs in this is the place to go. The sound is pretty good, a little on the tinny side, I think it's because Tommy doesn't have total control of the sound, and he does have a good selection of music.

SLATE STREET-FULL CIRCLE-LATE STARTS

Earlier this year with new management karaoke at Slate Street was cut to Thursday's only, they let go of Ben-Jammin' and brought Tommy in. After a massive amounts of complaints and lost business, and a new manager, Ben-Jammin' is back and karaoke is back to Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. However they are late starts, due to events they hold earlier in the evening, such as football and live bands. Usually by 11 they are singing.

NEW GIRL AT SILVA LANES

Silva Lanes has brought in another KJ, which brings them up to 4. This is because Ed Sol lead singer for Blue Sol has been busy with gigs everywhere and is not able to commit the time Silva Lanes needed. I sang with her one night and she is pretty good. Silva Lanes (Punky's Place) has karaoke 7 nights a week.

ISLETA IS DONE....AGAIN

Isleta Casino has discontinued karaoke at this time. They were not getting the revenue necessary to justify the service. The contest did not prove to be as successful as they needed it to be. There is rumors it will come back next year but nothing solid, we will keep you posted.

ELLIOTT'S IS DONE

The lose of Elliott's is a sad one, one of wealth beats everyone else. Elliott's has been a landmark of some of the best entertainment of live music, comedy, dance nights and karaoke in the history of the valley. This landmark existed long before the extremely wealthy homes exsisted across the ditch and has employed many citizens over time. Once the homes across the ditch were built, noise complaints were filed and enforced, like no other place in the city or county. Tommy Hurrikane had a very large regular following, and after being forced to turn it down, singers left, it dwindled down to nothing and eventually lead to the cancellation of karaoke, as well as bands no longer wanted to perform there. Recently, karaoke was brought back with Rock Star Karaoke and it was held in another room, but by now all those singers had found new homes. Elliott's has decided to close the entire venue, with New Years Eve to be the final night.

EVOLUTION HAS EVOLVED TO THE GRAVITY NIGHT CLUB & CASH CONTEST

Sarah Moya aka DraZtik, Ben and Andrew have acquired the Evolution Venue and are re-opening it as The Gravity Night Club where karaoke will not only exsist every Wednesday night, beginning on New Years Day Night, but will be the home of a cash contest. $50 in cash given away every night. What a great combination! Actually this isn’t to new. WAKA sports has been doing this for a while. These folks have a blast, I run into them after they have had a night of fun, they all gather at the designated location for some wind down drinks and karaoke. NEW YEAR'S EVE KARAOKE @ GECKOS WITH LIVE MIC II

Live Mic Entertainment has hosted for years at Geckos with KJ Zero. On New Year's Eve, LIVE MIC II aka Felicia will be hosting the night. I have sang with her at Spectators and prefer her, I think you will too. They will start at 9 and go till 2014 at 1am!
