(You may judge as many as you want, once all applications are received and decisions of who will be the judges are made we will then make the schedule and let you know what it is. Most venue competitions will be approximately three hours.)
(Note: Times at the NM State Fair are subject to change, hopefully it won't happen, but it is possible. You will receive one pass for each day you judge at the NM State Fair. The Elimination Rounds from 8-10pm. Top 24 will be from 8-10:15pm, the Top 12 will be from 8-10pm.)

Judges Agreement
In submitting your application to judge any of the NM State Fair Karaoke Competitions you must agree to the following:
1-That you will not be intoxicated beyond fair judgment before and during the time of contestants to be judged.
2-That you will be fair in judgment to every contestant no matter what, even if you know the person, that you will not alter your judgment towards that person.
3-That you will judge by the rules that are written, and have read and understood them.
4-If there are any questions to the written rules, you shall discuss it privately with Ozz and if necessary modifications will be made.
5-That you will not use the power of this judgment to belittle any of the contestants.
6-That you will report to every qualification, elimination, and final rounds you sign up for, and will arrive at least 15 minutes early. There is no guaranteed time of finish each night for the qualifying nights; it will depend upon the rotation of the regular singers mixed in with the contestants.
7-If you are not able to attend one of the events; you will give as much notice as possible.
8-Compensation: You shall receive $25 per event that you judge. You shall be paid by a Call Me Ozz company check at the commencement of the Grand Finale, which is on Sunday, September 16th.
9-You must sign a form 1099-IRS for non-employee compensation. Taxes will not be deducted. Although you may not have to report this income on your tax return, Call Me Ozz does have to report it as an expense.
10-You shall judge each contestant on a scale of 1-10 for their performance on: Key, Timing, How Well They Know the Song and how well they bring in Audience Interaction. There will be an additional 10 points for the Costume Competition.
11-You are not permitted to interact with the contestants. (See Rule #18 in the rules and the clarification of)
11.1-Cell phone use during the judging time is prohibited.
11.2-Friends, Family, Spouses, Etc are not permitted in the judging area.
12-By agreeing to Judge this contest you are giving Call Me Ozz Dot Net, The N.M. State Fair and it's affiliates full copyrights to use your name and photos in any and all media and marketing opportunities and giving up any and future rights and royalties from this contest.
13-There will be a "Judges Profile Page" that anyone can go to, to see who the judges are. We only post your name, your musical background and your picture, unless you request no picture.
14-You are not of the "Karaoke Community".
